Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when João Paulo Cardozo made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, INTER FC's Luís Ferreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Baptista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ricardo Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Ferreira in the 9th minute of play. João Paulo Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Edinho Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Ferreira scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Baptista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. INTER FC's Edinho Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Rodrigues in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of La Società Sport Osasco booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Ferreira in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Baptista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Ferreira in the 33rd minute of play forced La Società Sport Osasco's goalkeeper Ricardo Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Luís Ferreira notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of La Società Sport Osasco's Ricardo Baptista. Ricardo Baptista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emerson Cruz scored 0-5 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Baptista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 45 minutes of play, INTER FC's Emerson Cruz made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Baptista was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Ferreira made a kick off. In the 55th play minute Luís Ferreira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ricardo Baptista. 0-7. After having played for 57 minutes, Emerson Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emerson Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Ricardinho Batista got a free kick in the 67th minute. La Società Sport Osasco were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after INTER FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Afonsinho Abreu took the corner. After taking down the ball on La Società Sport Osasco's corner Afonsinho Abreu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edinho Lira quite easily take care of the ball. Luís Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ricardo Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, Tiago de Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Ricardo Baptista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. La Società Sport Osasco's Ricardo Baptista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save La Società Sport Osasco from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago de Azevedo in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Emerson Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Baptista. La Società Sport Osasco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emerson Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Società Sport Osasco! In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for INTER FC. Hortêncio Ortiz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ricardo Baptista. 0-10. Ricardo Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Cruz in the 96th minute of the match. INTER FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
