Hortêncio Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. La Rompen made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Célio Valle sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pegaso FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roben Petralanda was slow to take the kick. During this time MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors's players had a chance to rest. In the 28th minute, George Singson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Rompen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roben Petralanda in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Federico Ponciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Ponciano came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors booed when Pegaso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Seaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Tancredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Roben Petralanda made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors got a freekick which was hit by Juarês Leite. Célio Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without La Rompen having to make a save. Nilton Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors made a substitution. Armandinho Sá replaced Roben Petralanda. A collision led to MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nilton Baiano hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Pegaso FC defense, Armandinho Sá kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of La Rompen. The Pegaso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that La Rompen should have stopped the shot. Armandinho Sá took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised La Rompen. La Rompen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 80 minutes into the match, Pegaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho Sá came free, but La Rompen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Rompen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Mateo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes Pegaso FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Su. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pegaso FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
