Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathias Haraldsson to make the kick off. In the 58th match minute, FC Pepsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Ekegren to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Arne Pihlgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Cumhur Birge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Arne Pihlgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Vedat Tolgan went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.
