Adilson Lopez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute, Santos Montel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adilson Lopez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, Santos Montel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adilson Lopez. Torreão OFF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Montel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 26 minutes of play, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Santos Montel made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adilson Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Montel in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adilson Lopez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Atlético Rio Cuarto booed when Torreão OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Luz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Gaston Gitano, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 35th match minute, Torreão OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Adilson Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Atlético Rio Cuarto's Humberto Francesco got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 played minutes Torreão OFF got a freekick which was hit by Renato de Queirós. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Santos Montel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Rio Cuarto's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Montel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adilson Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 minutes of play, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Santos Montel made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adilson Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Torreão OFF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético Rio Cuarto were winning 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santos Montel made a kick off. Santos Montel might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adilson Lopez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santos Montel ran back to his position shaking his head. Adilson Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Montel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, Atlético Rio Cuarto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Cordarryl to maneuver through the defense. Santos Montel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Adilson Lopez made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Montel in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adilson Lopez saved Torreão OFF from getting behind. After 74 minutes of play, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Santos Montel made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adilson Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santos Montel struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Adilson Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Rio Cuarto. Santos Montel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atlético Rio Cuarto's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
