Atlético Rio Cuarto's Santos Montel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 5th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 10th minute, Santos Montel made a precise shot to the right of Juvenal Sergipano. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Santos Montel let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 13th minute shot 3-0 at rihgt post. Kiko Tande scored 3-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Abar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 41 played minutes Atlético Rio Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Cordarryl. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Santos Montel got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Murilo Quirino made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Atlético Rio Cuarto getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gonzalo Diegotxe hit a great ball. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Jonas Fonseca shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adolfo Abar but with some difficulty. Santos Montel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th minute Santos Montel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Sergipano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Montel's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Santos Montel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Sergipano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Enzo Godoy got a free kick in the 81st minute. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Jonas Fonseca shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adolfo Abar but with some difficulty. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Adolfo Abar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tzvetomir Gruykin in the 83rd minute of play. 83 minutes in the game, Tzvetomir Gruykin dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Montel came free, but Juvenal Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Montel struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Juvenal Sergipano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Rio Cuarto. When the referee blew the final whistle, Atlético Rio Cuarto could leave the field as winners, despite CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE having more of the ball for most of the match.
