Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfred Bonsu in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Örtlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfons Löfgren scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Sørensen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thomas Sørensen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Alebom in the 14th minute of the match. Olof Allovs short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Leo Örtlund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Salkvist in the 18th minute of play forced Esbjerg fB's goalkeeper Thomas Sørensen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Örtlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfred Bonsu in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Osvald Salkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Sørensen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Wilfred Bonsu charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfred Bonsu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wilfred Bonsu hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Thomas Sørensen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfred Bonsu in the 38th minute of play forced Överås BK's goalkeeper Leo Örtlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfons Löfgren struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Thomas Sørensen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Överås BK. Thomas Sørensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Osvald Salkvist notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Esbjerg fB's Thomas Sørensen. Thomas Sørensen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Överås BK's Alfons Löfgren got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Esbjerg fB players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Överås BK were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfons Löfgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thomas Sørensen was a little too slow when Fabian Alebom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Alfons Löfgren could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Thomas Sørensen however easily saved by the left post. Ralph Lunnet's late challenge caught a Överås BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralph Lunnet helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Esbjerg fB got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Lunnet. The long shot by Alfons Löfgren in the 78th minute really tested Thomas Sørensen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
