Atlético-PR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piquirenda FC the free kick. The supporters of Piquirenda FC booed when Atlético-PR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute of the match Justo Casado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artur Recife showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gregorio Sugar came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético-PR's Iuri Toledo. But to his dismay, Iuri Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-5. In the 92nd minute, Paulo Erdiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Sugar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After 95 minutes, Honorio Lain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piquirenda FC and the Atlético-PR players grew even worse after the yellow card.
