The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julian Biskupiak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Del Hernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Biskupiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The corner led Pretoria Gostyń's Szczepan Plachetka to a score. 0-1 in the 10th minute. Del Hernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beniamin Makarewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alex Hyatt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes of play, Pretoria Gostyń's Beniamin Makarewicz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Del Hernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, Pretoria Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Hyatt came free, but Sylwester Chazon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Key Biscayne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toby Escobedo to maneuver through the defense. Del Hernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotr Jucha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludomir Posadzki struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Del Hernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pretoria Gostyń. Lance Pate who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Sylwester Chazon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Lance Pate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Key Biscayne FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lance Pate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sylwester Chazon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Piotr Jucha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Biskupiak succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Jucha in the 43rd minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Del Hernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lance Pate to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Jacek Kaznocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pretoria Gostyń's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Key Biscayne FC the free kick. In the 54th minute, Jacek Kaznocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Del Hernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piotr Jucha in the 62nd minute. Sylwester Chazon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lance Pate's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Lance Pate took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sylwester Chazon. Sylwester Chazon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 70 minutes into the match, Piotr Jucha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Del Hernandez, 1-5. In the 73rd minute Ludomir Posadzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Del Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piotr Jucha scored 1-6 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Del Hernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the game, Julian Biskupiak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Del Hernandez. Julian Biskupiak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. Pretoria Gostyń's Jerzy Krzynowek got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Key Biscayne FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pretoria Gostyń:s goal. When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, Pretoria Gostyń's Norbert Zdanowicz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Del Hernandez. Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Julian Biskupiak 100 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-10.
