Empire of Soccer's Arkas Potamianos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sal Jarrell in the 4th minute of play. Dante Todd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Arkas Potamianos made a huge save. When Dante Todd came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Illinois Bluewaters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Todd couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the game, Sal Jarrell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arkas Potamianos. Sal Jarrell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Deshawn Glenn notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Empire of Soccer's Arkas Potamianos. Arkas Potamianos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th match minute, Illinois Bluewaters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sal Jarrell to maneuver through the defense. Sal Jarrell did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Arkas Potamianos 16 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Empire of Soccer defense, Deshawn Glenn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arkas Potamianos. The Empire of Soccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arkas Potamianos should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's goalkeeper Arkas Potamianos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dante Todd. Arkas Potamianos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sal Jarrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Sal Jarrell succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Illinois Bluewaters's Deshawn Glenn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arkas Potamianos. That made the score 9-0 after 47 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 9-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Phaiakes Kouches stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arkas Potamianos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sal Jarrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Sal Jarrell made a precise shot to the right of Arkas Potamianos. Empire of Soccer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. In the 68th match minute, Empire of Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phaiakes Kouches to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Sal Jarrell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arkas Potamianos. Empire of Soccer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sal Jarrell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Sal Jarrell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arkas Potamianos having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Diaz in the 81st minute of play forced Empire of Soccer's goalkeeper Arkas Potamianos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Dante Todd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arkas Potamianos. Empire of Soccer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dante Todd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. After 86 minutes of play, Illinois Bluewaters's Sal Jarrell made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arkas Potamianos was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Sal Jarrell in the 90th minute of play forced Empire of Soccer's goalkeeper Arkas Potamianos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arkas Potamianos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Todd in the 92nd minute of the match. Illinois Bluewaters walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
