In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cacerola's goalkeeper Guillermo Paz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guillermo Paz made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Bieito Villaurreta sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Atletico Maturrango getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Diego Cabarcos hit a great ball. Jacobo Dodorol missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 16 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Nahia Velon right hand side. Guillermo Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bieito Villaurreta in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Cacerola's Guillermo Paz got control of the ball when Bieito Villaurreta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute, Narciso Argoitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cacerola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Caton Oquendo scored 2-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillermo Paz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atletico Maturrango's Nahia Velon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Argoitz in the 32nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Guillermo Paz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Guillermo Paz was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Bieito Villaurreta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bieito Villaurreta really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacobo Dodorol during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Cacerola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Dodorol to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Atletico Maturrango's Diego Cabarcos tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 40 played minutes Atletico Maturrango got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Sardaneta. Guillermo Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Sercombe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Bieito Villaurreta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillermo Paz was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

In the 51st match minute, Cacerola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Paskal to maneuver through the defense. Malcolm Sercombe scored 5-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillermo Paz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bieito Villaurreta in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Paz saved Cacerola from getting behind. 71 minutes into the game, Natalio Orzaize was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cacerola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Maturrango the free kick. In the 71st minute, Natalio Orzaize hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 71 minutes, Diego Cabarcos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Maturrango's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Cabarcos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcos Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Malcolm Sercombe took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillermo Paz. Guillermo Paz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. 83 minutes into the match, Cacerola's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Sercombe came free, but Guillermo Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Atletico Maturrango's Bieito Villaurreta in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cacerola's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Bieito Villaurreta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Maturrango's supporters rose to their feet, but Bieito Villaurreta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Paz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Cacerola's goal looked a bit too open when Bieito Villaurreta came free, but Guillermo Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
