Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) After 2 minutes, Adam Skager mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Superstar and the Adrogue FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Adrogue FC booed when AC Superstar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Skager didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marciano Macerio during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marciano Macerio kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. With a little luck, AC Superstar's Charles Johansson got control of the ball when Carlos Estevez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 9 minutes AC Superstar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristobal Avellaneda who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 10 minutes, Marciano Macerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adrogue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Macerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marciano Macerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Adrogue FC's Carlos Estevez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Charles Johansson. Charles Johansson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of AC Superstar booed when Adrogue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Richie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Ingmar Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Almeyda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Superstar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Carlos Estevez scored to the left of an out of position Charles Johansson, making the score, 2-0. Nicolas Abeijon hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingmar Brun in the 44th minute of play forced Adrogue FC's goalkeeper Matias Almeyda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Almeyda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidar Spetz in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vidar Spetz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Abeijon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Goi hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Vidar Spetz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matias Almeyda came out and tried to block the shot, but Vidar Spetz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 60th minute. Charles Johansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Macerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Marciano Macerio got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Carlos Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Johansson having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, AC Superstar's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Celino came free, but Charles Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Almeyda was a little too slow when Ingmar Brun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 2-2. Sven-Arne Back's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matias Almeyda firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Superstar's Harry Hernström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matias Almeyda. That made the score 2-3 after 87 minutes of play. After 90 played minutes Adrogue FC got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Eguen. The AC Superstar supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AC Superstar would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
