Alfredo Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Gentiletti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Costante in the 9th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Sandro Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MarquinhosEC and the Anjullan AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fausto Costante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Alfredo Loyola made a huge save. Alfredo Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Aurken in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Alfredo Loyola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacobo Froila. Alfredo Loyola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Costante in the 21st minute. Guto de Toledo's late challenge caught a Anjullan AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guto de Toledo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Anjullan AFC booed when MarquinhosEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guto de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Loyola was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Matias Aurken capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacobo Froila was the one to do the kick off. If Jacobo Froila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Amancio Benat made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Loyola. MarquinhosEC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Santiago Gentiletti came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Anjullan AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago Gentiletti couldn't finish the play. Matias Aurken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Benat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Aurken in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Loyola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anjullan AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
