With a little luck, Darkwing Ducks's Vilmer Aschendorff got control of the ball when Camille Gautheron tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Lyon 69ers's Ovidio Pello in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Darkwing Ducks's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Aloísio Lendaa could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Vilmer Aschendorff however easily saved by the left post. Darkwing Ducks's Vilmer Aschendorff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Pello in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Lyon 69ers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camille Gautheron to maneuver through the defense. Vilmer Aschendorff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Pello in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Darkwing Ducks's Vilmer Aschendorff got control of the ball when Marc Meister tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Camille Gautheron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hercule Couret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teddy Hare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darkwing Ducks were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Lyon 69ers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olof Nordnæs took the corner. With a little luck, Darkwing Ducks's Vilmer Aschendorff got control of the ball when Ovidio Pello tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute Camille Gautheron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilmer Aschendorff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Darkwing Ducks's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Gautheron came free, but Vilmer Aschendorff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Pello in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vilmer Aschendorff, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ovidio Pello to make the kick off. Erling Hulegaard's late challenge caught a Lyon 69ers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erling Hulegaard helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Darkwing Ducks got a freekick which was hit by Erling Hulegaard. A collision led to Darkwing Ducks getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Hasse Nelvad hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Bendt Grenbo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 56 minutes of play, Lyon 69ers's Aloísio Lendaa made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilmer Aschendorff was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marc Meister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilmer Aschendorff having to interfere. If Bendt Grenbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyon 69ers made a substitution. Claudinho Tepedino replaced Pierre-Loup Robin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Meister in the 66th minute of play forced Darkwing Ducks's goalkeeper Vilmer Aschendorff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vilmer Aschendorff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Lendaa in the 68th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lyon 69ers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Darkwing Ducks a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Olof Nordnæs, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lyon 69ers's Hercule Couret. 3-1. Marc Meister scored 4-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vilmer Aschendorff, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vilmer Aschendorff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Lendaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Lyon 69ers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
