Lucian Crețulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edin Džeko's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edin Džeko in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucian Crețulescu saved AFC PunisherS™ from getting behind. Lucian Crețulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edin Džeko in the 16th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, KOCAELİSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nusret Dündaroğlu to maneuver through the defense. Atalan Çetinsoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Ţopescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 27 played minutes AFC PunisherS™ got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Moculescu. A collision led to KOCAELİSPOR getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Anıl Arda Buğra hit a great ball. In the 31st minute of the match, Codrin Ignat got a very nice opportunity to score, but Atalan Çetinsoy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 33 minutes into the game, AFC PunisherS™'s Eduard Ţopescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atalan Çetinsoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 35 played minutes AFC PunisherS™ got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Ţopescu. If Ahmet Yahya Kuter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the AFC PunisherS™ defense, Edin Džeko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucian Crețulescu. The AFC PunisherS™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucian Crețulescu should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Codrin Ignat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as KOCAELİSPOR's Edin Džeko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucian Crețulescu. That made the score 1-2 after 52 minutes of play. Edin Džeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucian Crețulescu made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Edin Džeko sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as KOCAELİSPOR's Edin Džeko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucian Crețulescu. That made the score 1-3 after 67 minutes of play. 73 minutes into the match, Teodor Zmărăndache notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of KOCAELİSPOR's Atalan Çetinsoy. Atalan Çetinsoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduard Ţopescu in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atalan Çetinsoy saved KOCAELİSPOR from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Wilfred Zaha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of AFC PunisherS™ booed when KOCAELİSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfred Zaha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codrin Ignat's late challenge caught a KOCAELİSPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Codrin Ignat helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AFC PunisherS™ getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Codrin Ignat hit a great ball. After 86 minutes of play, AFC PunisherS™'s Eduard Ţopescu made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atalan Çetinsoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th match minute, AFC PunisherS™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Măliță to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, KOCAELİSPOR's Wilfred Zaha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. In the 97th minute of the match KOCAELİSPOR got a corner. AFC PunisherS™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anıl Arda Buğra ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Aytekin Eracar managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
