The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabian Janssens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Walmir Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Janssens having to interfere. If Juan Ayuso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joélson Duarte charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joélson Duarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Tio Patinhas got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Duarte. A hard shot 16 in the game by Chiel Middeljans from a close distance when the talented Nildo Braga managed to make a qualified save. Tio Patinhas's players were relieved. After 22 minutes of play, Tio Patinhas's Geraldo Miranda made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Janssens was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Decathlon Dudes's Nildo Braga threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan Ayuso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Brito during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Decathlon Dudes's Chiel Middeljans was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Chiel Middeljans recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nildo Braga. Chiel Middeljans showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Decathlon Dudes's Daan Wegman got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Decathlon Dudes's Chiel Middeljans, in the 38th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Decathlon Dudes. After 42 played minutes Tio Patinhas got a freekick which was hit by Ian Barral. Chiel Middeljans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nildo Braga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Tio Patinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Brito to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.
Wilco Keldermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo Braga having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Daan Wegman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chiel Middeljans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Ian Barral made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Janssens. Decathlon Dudes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. 61 minutes into the match, Tio Patinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Ayuso came free, but Nildo Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nildo Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Ayuso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Juan Ayuso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tio Patinhas's Nildo Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Ayuso in the 69th minute of play. After 73 played minutes Tio Patinhas got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Vides. 74 minutes into the game, Decathlon Dudes's Chiel Middeljans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nildo Braga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Tio Patinhas's Nildo Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Ayuso in the 78th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 79 minutes into the game, when Luisinho Alagoano put in a rough tackle. After 79 played minutes Tio Patinhas got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Alagoano. After having played for 80 minutes, Jan Raas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Decathlon Dudes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Raas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 minutes, Chiel Middeljans made it 6-2 with a short kick to the right side. Tio Patinhas's Nildo Braga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nildo Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Ayuso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
