When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ingemar Stålman sped through CD Boiro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Walme Ortega. Walme Ortega made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Ingemar Stålman sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Palomar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the CD Boiro defense, Ingemar Stålman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walme Ortega. The CD Boiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walme Ortega should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Hermanö Oilers's Joseph Algren got control of the ball when John Palomar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, CD Boiro's Estefan Canosa got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 69th match minute, Hermanö Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingemar Stålman to maneuver through the defense. John Palomar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Joseph Algren made a huge save. 71 minutes into the game, Ingemar Stålman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Walme Ortega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ingemar Stålman might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walme Ortega. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingemar Stålman ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Stålman in the 75th minute of play forced CD Boiro's goalkeeper Walme Ortega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Ingemar Stålman made a precise shot to the right of Walme Ortega. CD Boiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Ralf Edström might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walme Ortega. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ralf Edström ran back to his position shaking his head. Walme Ortega didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ralf Edström went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. CD Boiro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
