After 4 minutes of play, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Leon Ogazón made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cisco Rubial was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Leon Ogazón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17thth minute of the game Matthew Vall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DREAM TEAM WORLD's Tom Murillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Egun Galan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tom Murillo. Egun Galan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Leon Ogazón left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DREAM TEAM WORLD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Cisco Rubial took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Ogazón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 36 minutes, Leon Ogazón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DREAM TEAM WORLD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Ogazón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC United's goalkeeper Cisco Rubial, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After 54 minutes AFC United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabriel Eron who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Benigno Gartzea drilling the ball in to score 1-3 behind AFC United's goalkeeper. In the 57th minute Matthew Vall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Murillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Jhon Stones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DREAM TEAM WORLD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC United the free kick. In the 60th minute, Aristides Belandia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Leon Ogazón came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the DREAM TEAM WORLD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Ogazón couldn't finish the play. Tom Murillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilen Martioda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 minutes of play, AFC United's Matthew Vall made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 72nd minute, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Leon Ogazón dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilen Martioda in the 77th minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Tom Murillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Ogazón received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cisco Rubial came out and tried to block the shot, but Leon Ogazón slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 83rd minute. Cisco Rubial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Ogazón in the 86th minute of play. Victoriano Cerilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Cisco Rubial tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 minutes, Lisandro Ubendu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DREAM TEAM WORLD and the AFC United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lisandro Ubendu hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
