Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlitos Caszely kicked off to start the match. Miguel Riffo charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Riffo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Variante Delta booed when Colo-Colo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Riffo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Mati Fernández ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tartalo Alarcon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 12 minutes, David Henríquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colo-Colo and the Variante Delta players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Variante Delta booed when Colo-Colo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Henríquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Variante Delta's goalkeeper Tartalo Alarcon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mati Fernández. 23 minutes into the game, Ivo Basay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tartalo Alarcon. Ivo Basay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Mati Fernández dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tartalo Alarcon, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivo Basay got free with Tartalo Alarcon in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tartalo Alarcon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlitos Caszely in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Layne Saron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlitos Caszely received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tartalo Alarcon came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlitos Caszely slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 56th minute, Mati Fernández ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tartalo Alarcon was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Tartalo Alarcon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlitos Caszely in the 60th minute of the match. Colo-Colo's Carlitos Caszely got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Colo-Colo's Luis Mena was substituted for Marcos Francisco Aguayo. Ivo Basay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tartalo Alarcon having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mati Fernández during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Colo-Colo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mati Fernández to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Villatoro hit a great ball. Tartalo Alarcon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toninho Bibikov went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute Carlitos Caszely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tartalo Alarcon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Toninho Bibikov came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Colo-Colo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toninho Bibikov couldn't finish the play. Mati Fernández took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tartalo Alarcon. Tartalo Alarcon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Colo-Colo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
