Zé Carlos Moreno took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Araújo. Fausto Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Zé Carlos Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Araújo. Colombo A.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Fausto Araújo came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Lidice's Erik Cruz. But to his dismay, Erik Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Rubinho Lopes made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Olívio Valladares sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olívio Valladares got free with Rubinho Lopes in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Gilvan Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Colombo A.C. defense, Erik Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Araújo. The Colombo A.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Araújo should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Carlos Moreno during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zé Carlos Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Erik Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes Lidice got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Moreno. In the 36th minute, Erik Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lidice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The supporters of Colombo A.C. booed when Lidice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilvan Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Lidice getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Luiz do Nascimento hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the game, Zé Teles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colombo A.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lidice the free kick. Zé Teles hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Rubinho Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olívio Valladares to strike the kick off in the second half. Olívio Valladares might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rubinho Lopes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olívio Valladares ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute, one of Colombo A.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Colombo A.C.. Fausto Araújo had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Erik Cruz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Colombo A.C. defense, Erik Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Araújo. After 73 played minutes, Lidice's Erik Cruz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fausto Araújo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lidice reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Freire in the 75th minute of play forced Colombo A.C.'s goalkeeper Fausto Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Cruz in the 76th minute of play. Erik Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilton Senna got free with Fausto Araújo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olívio Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Lopes having to interfere. Colombo A.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when David Toscano 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. The supporters of Colombo A.C. booed when Lidice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rubinho Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Vergílio in the 89th minute of the match. Wilton Senna came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fausto Araújo could save by the left post. Rubinho Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Valladares in the 97th minute of play. The Colombo A.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lidice were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
