In the 18th match minute, Beaumont FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Balasi to maneuver through the defense. Beaumont FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arvid Carlsson 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. George Gunnarsson in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcial Quico, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Arvid Carlsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcial Quico. That made the score 5-0 in the 32 minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Beaumont FC's Delmiro Lopez made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilgot Palmquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute of the match Linköpings AIK got a corner. Beaumont FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Birger Gudmundsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Birger Gudmundsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcial Quico quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marcial Quico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arvid Carlsson's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Linköpings AIK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Oden Torsson hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Fidel Olentzaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilgot Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Linköpings AIK's Sven-Ove Glanselius got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that George Gunnarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Quico was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 53 minutes into the match, Beaumont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Carlsson came free, but Marcial Quico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Quico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Gunnarsson went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. In the 69thth minute of the game George Gunnarsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beaumont FC's Marcial Quico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Beaumont FC defense, George Gunnarsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Quico. The Beaumont FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Quico should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that George Gunnarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Quico was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 83rdth minute of the game Arvid Carlsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beaumont FC's Marcial Quico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Beaumont FC's goal looked a bit too open when George Gunnarsson came free, but Marcial Quico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9-1 became the score in the 86th minute when Arvid Carlsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marcial Quico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Gunnarsson in the 92nd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Linköpings AIK had played much better football throughout.
