The supporters of Lipochσrion FC booed when Navigatii Bacău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Cănănău didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aleksander Brzakala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Fotis Melas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lipochσrion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fotis Melas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Mirciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manos Mantouvalos in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Fotis Melas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cristian Mirciu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fotis Melas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Mirciu having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Aleksander Brzakala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

A sloppy throw-in by Remus Zăraşcu in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lipochσrion FC's Spyros Kotsolis. Cristian Mirciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Brzakala in the 56th minute of play. Cristian Mirciu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fotis Melas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 65 minute of play. Fotis Melas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Mirciu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Cristian Mirciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fotis Melas in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute Lipochσrion FC were awarded a corner. Veniamin Chatziantoniou went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristian Mirciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Brzakala in the 78th minute of the match. Fotis Melas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Cristian Mirciu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Manos Mantouvalos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. The Navigatii Bacău fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lipochσrion FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
