The supporters of Juventud Antoniana booed when Guará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Washington Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jânio Furlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Cordarius went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Juventud Antoniana's Celso Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Vasconcelos in the 41st minute of play. Guará FC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Juventud Antoniana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erlingur Haaland took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Marcelo Cordarius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jânio Furlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Juventud Antoniana booed when Guará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
