The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Barbosa in the 3rd minute of play forced C.A. Calamuchita's goalkeeper Jorge Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Vítor Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Jorge Dimas made a huge save. If Bater Cuca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bater Cuca in the 15th minute of play. Luís Guilherme Romero got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by João Vítor Galvão. The audience thought a goal was coming when Papi Hamburger got free with Jorge Dimas in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bater Cuca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manga Fenomeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Presebal in the 36th minute of play forced Futuros FC's goalkeeper Manga Fenomeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Vítor Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Carolo Presebal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manga Fenomeno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Figueroa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd match minute, Futuros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Donato to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Manga Fenomeno managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when C.A. Calamuchita's Wilfredo Figueroa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Manga Fenomeno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilfredo Figueroa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 65 minute of play. A collision led to C.A. Calamuchita getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jesus Colas hit a great ball. Bem Bom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Papi Hamburger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futuros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Papi Hamburger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manga Fenomeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Figueroa in the 74th minute of play. When Alonzo Licerio fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Calamuchita's protests and gave Alonzo Licerio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute Bater Cuca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Bater Cuca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Dimas. C.A. Calamuchita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bater Cuca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Futuros FC had won after a very even match.
