After 37 minutes of play, Los Podridos ll's Celestino Ixaka made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Sundberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the game, Luisito Ponciano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Podridos ll's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huvudstaden the free kick. After 52 played minutes Huvudstaden got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Hjortsberg. 56 minutes into the game, Celestino Ixaka recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eric Sundberg. Celestino Ixaka showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 61 minutes into the match, Leandro Dunixi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eric Sundberg, 0-7. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Eric Sundberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eric Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rik Clarijs in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Los Podridos ll's Benedicto Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Los Podridos ll's Ismael Videl was substituted for Luisito Ponciano. Huvudstaden's Eric Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rik Clarijs in the 73rd minute of play. Eric Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Dunixi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over Los Podridos ll could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Huvudstaden throughout the match.
