The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Pita couldn't finish the play. Lon Quiles came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Urko Merida could save by the left post. Alexandro Mansilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Morris having to make a save. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Frank Morris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandro Mansilla in the 9th minute of play. Lon Quiless short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Urko Merida to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Inko Zumel fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored I.A.S.A's protests and gave Inko Zumel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Inko Zumel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Amarita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandro Mansilla to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lon Quiles in the 53rd minute of play forced I.A.S.A's goalkeeper Urko Merida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Lon Quiles made a precise shot to the right of Urko Merida. I.A.S.A's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Frank Morris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Lon Quiles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urko Merida. I.A.S.A's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lon Quiles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guib Cortina in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urko Merida saved I.A.S.A from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Blasco Cerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Guib Cortina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rapsodas Red Devils FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rapsodas Red Devils FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while I.A.S.A had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
