The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mümtaz Oba came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Lon Quiles. But to his dismay, Lon Quiles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Mümtaz Oba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lon Quiles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Blue Mountain State getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Yahya Kongar hit a great ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Lon Quiles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lon Quiles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Blue Mountain State's Désiré Kaká got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the game, Fiz Miñano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Mümtaz Oba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the game, Ricardo Kaká cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Frank Morris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ricardo Kaká had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Kaká in the 32nd minute of play forced Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Frank Morris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Blue Mountain State defense, Aaron Amarita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mümtaz Oba. The Blue Mountain State fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mümtaz Oba should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Désiré Kaká in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Morris saved Rapsodas Red Devils FC from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Lon Quiles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rapsodas Red Devils FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lon Quiles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Lon Quiles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mümtaz Oba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Ricardo Kaká could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Frank Morris made a huge save. Frank Morris made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ricardo Kaká sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Lon Quiles put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mümtaz Oba. Fiz Miñano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mümtaz Oba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Kaká came free, but Frank Morris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mümtaz Oba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guib Cortina in the 77th minute of the match. Frank Morris was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Ricardo Kaká capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ricardo Kaká really showed his touch with that goal: 8-2. 82 minutes into the match, Lon Quiles notched a goal, 9-2, to the right of Blue Mountain State's Mümtaz Oba. Mümtaz Oba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Lon Quiles came free, but Mümtaz Oba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes Blue Mountain State got a freekick which was hit by Jun Misugi. 94 minutes into the game, Guib Cortina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-2. Mümtaz Oba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
