Pelayo Villoldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Oliviero in the 16th minute of play. Natalio Nazario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Maximiliano Ibar made a huge save. 21 minutes into the game, Bartoleme Fajardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Maximiliano Ibar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Natalio Nazario scored 2-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximiliano Ibar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pelayo Villoldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Oliviero, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Bartoleme Fajardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Ibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Ibar was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Cebrian Urriola capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cebrian Urriola really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Natalio Nazario hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Gavino Gustau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pelayo Villoldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Calvet, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The supporters of Old School FC booed when Austral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Nazario didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Austral FC's Lorenzo Peruyera got a free kick in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Austral FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Maura came free, but Pelayo Villoldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Natalio Nazario came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Austral FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Nazario couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the game, Austral FC's Marko Infiesto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Ibar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.

Austral FC's Pelayo Villoldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Calvet in the 55th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Old School FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fagondo Vasquez came free, but Maximiliano Ibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Ibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Nazario in the 64th minute of the match. Maximiliano Ibar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartoleme Fajardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Calvet got free with Pelayo Villoldo in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Abel Calvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Bartoleme Fajardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Austral FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When the referee ended the match the Austral FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
