The supporters of Atlético Ourense booed when Academia NOFX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Olando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colon Manrique showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo De Matteis in the 31st minute of the match. Herminio Polentzi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dubardo Mangas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Cabrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Jerico made in the 60th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jonatan Erramu immediately put the ball in play. Euloxu Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Dubardo Mangas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Ourense's supporters rose to their feet, but Dubardo Mangas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Cloyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute of the match, Dubardo Mangas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jose Cloyo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 74 played minutes Atlético Ourense got a freekick which was hit by Euloxu Bermudez. Jose Cloyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Odín, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Luisito Cordeal hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 90 minutes in the game Herminio Polentzi did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eduardo De Matteis. The audience held their breath when Herminio Polentzi in the 97th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Colon Manrique's left hand side. When the final whistle sounded Atlético Ourense left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Academia NOFX.
