With his leg Renos Valantis managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thiago Damião scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renos Valantis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Roberto Matos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Renos Valantis came out and tried to block the shot, but Zé Roberto Matos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. The supporters of MONAXOS booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Tomás Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AF CERRADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renos Valantis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Roberto Matos went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 21 minutes into the game, Iordanis Kazantzakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MONAXOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AF CERRADO the free kick. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when MONAXOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordanis Kazantzakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22nd play minutes Thiago Damião shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Renos Valantis and just under the crossbar into goal. Thiago Damião hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes MONAXOS got a freekick which was hit by Fotis Stamatakos. Ademar Dantas hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Renos Valantis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thiago Damião went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Zé Roberto Matos got a free kick in the 55th minute. Renos Valantis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Richard Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot. AF CERRADO's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Travassos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renos Valantis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when MONAXOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avraam Karavokiris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renos Valantis came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião. But to his dismay, Thiago Damião quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind MONAXOS's goalkeeper Renos Valantis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Renos Valantis came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião. But to his dismay, Thiago Damião quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. If Thiago Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Roberto Matos struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Renos Valantis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AF CERRADO. Renos Valantis came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by AF CERRADO's Tomás Schmidt. But to his dismay, Tomás Schmidt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Karkantos in the 95th minute of play.
