6 minutes into the match, Leeds United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Olejasz came free, but Stig Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Solak in the 18th minute of play forced Leeds United FC's goalkeeper Stig Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lukasz Solak took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig Larsson. Stig Larsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Stig Larsson came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Vikings's Zbyszek Borucki. But to his dismay, Zbyszek Borucki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Stig Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszek Borucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Larsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lukasz Solak's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Lukasz Solak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sture Tolsson during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
