With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Eanes in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norbert Rzegotka saved Drim Tim from getting behind. António Cruz struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Norbert Rzegotka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GD Almargense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Vlahović in the 22nd minute of play forced Drim Tim's goalkeeper Norbert Rzegotka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. António Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norbert Rzegotka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Norbert Rzegotka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Cruz's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Jaime Paraibano's late challenge caught a GD Almargense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Paraibano helped the player get up and apologised. Jaime Paraibano hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Drim Tim defense, António Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norbert Rzegotka. The Drim Tim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norbert Rzegotka should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute Dušan Vlahović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Rzegotka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Cruz in the 40th minute of play forced Drim Tim's goalkeeper Norbert Rzegotka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norbert Rzegotka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from António Cruz went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Drim Tim's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Moussa N'Diaye was slow to take the kick. During this time GD Almargense's players had a chance to rest. Drim Tim's Norbert Rzegotka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnau Martínez in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erling Halgand stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Nicolau Sesimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GD Almargense made a substitution. Alexandre Valadares replaced António Cruz. In the 59th minute, Jaime Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as GD Almargense's Alexandre Valadares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Norbert Rzegotka. That made the score 0-3 after 60 minutes of play. 63 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's Alexandre Valadares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norbert Rzegotka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Norbert Rzegotka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Højlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Norbert Rzegotka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Højlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Drim Tim's zone, Rasmus Højlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Rzegotka came out of the goal and Rasmus Højlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudemiro Tristão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Halgand in the 73rd minute of play. Qiu Tian Kuan kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Drim Tim's goalkeeper Norbert Rzegotka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rasmus Højlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Rzegotka having to interfere. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Drim Tim's goalkeeper Norbert Rzegotka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Rasmus Højlund came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the GD Almargense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rasmus Højlund couldn't finish the play. Norbert Rzegotka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Højlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. GD Almargense's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
