Piotr Redisz scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arturo Ledesma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Apolo Ovando charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apolo Ovando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Leones Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Ovando. Borys Chazen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Arturo Ledesma made a huge save. The supporters of Thunderstorm Riders booed when Leones Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Castel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Jakub Lukowski notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Leones Futbol Club's Arturo Ledesma. Arturo Ledesma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute, Draš Tič left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Thunderstorm Riders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Jakub Lukowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Arturo Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Ledesma didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Leones Futbol Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jakub Lukowski 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-0. 42 minutes into the game, Thunderstorm Riders's Jakub Lukowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Ledesma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Jakub Lukowski took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arturo Ledesma. Arturo Ledesma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adolfo Senio to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Draš Tič in the 51st minute of play forced Leones Futbol Club's goalkeeper Arturo Ledesma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Jerzy Plachetka notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Leones Futbol Club's Arturo Ledesma. Arturo Ledesma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arturo Ledesma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Chazen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Leones Futbol Club's Alonzo Mosen got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Leones Futbol Club defense, Jakub Lukowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Ledesma. The Leones Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Ledesma should have stopped the shot. Arturo Ledesma came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Thunderstorm Riders's Jerzy Plachetka. But to his dismay, Jerzy Plachetka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. 95 minutes into the game, Thunderstorm Riders's Jakub Lukowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Ledesma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Thunderstorm Riders had played much better football throughout.
