FC Ouagadougou National's Henri Sanders managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Orhan Seyfi Sıratullah in the 4 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Orhan Seyfi Sıratullah in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Ouagadougou National's Armand Owerckx. 7 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Karl Laureys had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berkan İhsan. Chris-George Elssen struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Acar Memduh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ouagadougou National. When Ahmet Nafiz Ertuna fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ReD DeeRs's protests and gave Ahmet Nafiz Ertuna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Ahmet Nafiz Ertuna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match Koen Van Hecke shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Acar Memduh showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Chris-George Elssen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Acar Memduh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Chris-George Elssen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Acar Memduh. ReD DeeRs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris-George Elssen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Henri Sanders's late challenge caught a ReD DeeRs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henri Sanders helped the player get up and apologised. Henri Sanders hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes FC Ouagadougou National got a freekick which was hit by Henri Sanders. Chris-George Elssen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acar Memduh having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

55 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Nafiz Ertuna came free, but Karl Laureys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Laureys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kıvanç Altıncığlu in the 57th minute of the match. Henri Sanders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Acar Memduh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ReD DeeRs's Harun Dilsuz was substituted for Buğrahan İmam. After having played for 79 minutes, Chris-George Elssen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ouagadougou National's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris-George Elssen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. İnanç Ünsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Laureys having to interfere. The supporters of ReD DeeRs booed when FC Ouagadougou National was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armand Owerckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berkan İhsan got a throw-in 96 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mehmet Edip Taner. Chants of FC Ouagadougou National echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as ReD DeeRs had held the ball for most of the match.
