Yves Lothart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Dudek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yves Lothart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Pozorski, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 15th minute, Konrad Dudek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Russówek's Zenon Pazura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Russówek from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo da Mata recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zenon Pazura. Luiz Gustavo da Mata showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Yves Lothart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Dudek in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Konrad Dudek made a precise shot to the right of Yves Lothart. PIAUÍ FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Leszek Psotka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yves Lothart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Dudek in the 29th minute of play. Yves Lothart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leszek Psotka in the 30th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Ulisses da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radomir Turek charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radomir Turek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PIAUÍ FC booed when Russówek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Turek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th match minute, PIAUÍ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Arce to maneuver through the defense. Valdemar Nogueira came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zenon Pazura could save by the left post. 42 minutes into the match, Russówek's goalkeeper Zenon Pazura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdemar Nogueira. In the 44th minute Konrad Dudek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yves Lothart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Russówek were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Tadeusz Pozorski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Russówek getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Bogumil Byczewski hit a great ball. Russówek's Zenon Pazura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Nogueira in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konrad Dudek in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yves Lothart saved PIAUÍ FC from getting behind. With a little luck, PIAUÍ FC's Yves Lothart got control of the ball when Konrad Dudek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Gustavo da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Zenon Pazura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, PIAUÍ FC's Adrianinho Guedes got a free kick in the 70th minute. Yves Lothart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Dudek in the 72nd minute of the match. Valdemar Nogueira took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zenon Pazura. Zenon Pazura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Jonathan Calleri managed to get in a good position for a shot. PIAUÍ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Calleri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zenon Pazura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zenon Pazura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Nogueira in the 84th minute of play. Konrad Dudek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Yves Lothart when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Russówek's Konrad Dudek in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PIAUÍ FC's goalie prevented a goal. Fred Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konrad Dudek got free with Yves Lothart in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tadeusz Pozorski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Yves Lothart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
