Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Neville Marsland in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ioan Bulzan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cassidy Wang took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ioan Bulzan. Ioan Bulzan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ebi Smolarek in the 29th minute of play forced Manly FC's goalkeeper Duncan Mcinnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neville Marsland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ioan Bulzan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Duke Carberry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacio Eufrasio hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octavian Caragea to strike the kick off in the second half. John Aldridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, FC aDeX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milenko Aćimović to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 59 minutes, Ebi Smolarek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC aDeX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ebi Smolarek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ioan Bulzan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmichael Carbery went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When Milenko Aćimović fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC aDeX's protests and gave Milenko Aćimović a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Manly FC booed when FC aDeX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milenko Aćimović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmichael Carbery took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ioan Bulzan. Ioan Bulzan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. John Aldridge took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ioan Bulzan. After a rather tough play, FC aDeX's Anton Tăutu got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ioan Bulzan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Aldridge in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of FC aDeX booed when Manly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neville Marsland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ioan Bulzan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Aldridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Manly FC fully deserved thier win.
