But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 陈南泉 couldn't finish the play. After having played for 19 minutes, Cederic Kest managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New York Giants's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cederic Kest was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New York Giants! When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, 【№1】湖南自由联队's 余适飞 got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tibo Kortens. After 27 minutes of play, New York Giants's Yoachim Seveneijns made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 韩挺岚 was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of New York Giants booed when 【№1】湖南自由联队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. 高锋帆 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind New York Giants's goalkeeper Tibo Kortens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 陈南泉 took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tibo Kortens. Tibo Kortens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 46 minutes into the game, 余适飞 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 【№1】湖南自由联队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New York Giants the free kick. In the 46th minute, 余适飞 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Jeroen Loos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 韩挺岚 skillfully saved the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when 陈南泉 made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, 【№1】湖南自由联队's 龙默勇 got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute of the match Jeroen Loos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 韩挺岚 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoachim Seveneijns in the 57th minute of play forced 【№1】湖南自由联队's goalkeeper 韩挺岚 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 韩挺岚 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cederic Kest in the 59th minute of play. Yoeri Van den Brul kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 韩挺岚 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoachim Seveneijns in the 66th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Yoachim Seveneijns put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of 韩挺岚. Cederic Kest was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. New York Giants's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Renzo Smets recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 陈南泉 in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tibo Kortens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 【№1】湖南自由联队's 韩挺岚 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save 【№1】湖南自由联队 from getting a goal against them. 【№1】湖南自由联队 succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though New York Giants had controlled the match.
