Tadeo Seguinus hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Ismael Fontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florencio Lluc. Sportivo Mela Banco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Fontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Carlos Sendoa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Elivélton Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson de Moraes hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. With a little luck, OLIMPIA SP's Valdomiro Barbosa got control of the ball when Carlos Sendoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lúcio Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilson de Moraes struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Florencio Lluc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OLIMPIA SP. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Mela Banco's Marcos Cordeiro got a free kick in the 36th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Iker Cordarrell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valdomiro Barbosa, 1-5. OLIMPIA SP's Wanderson Massa was substituted for Ramiro Donatello. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lúcio Reis made a kick off. OLIMPIA SP's Valdomiro Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Cordarrell in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Florencio Lluc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilson de Moraes. The Sportivo Mela Banco fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Sportivo Mela Banco's Iker Cordarrell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Florencio Lluc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Reis in the 79th minute of the match. Florencio Lluc was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Ismael Fontes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ismael Fontes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-7. In the 84th minute, OLIMPIA SP's Ismael Fontes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-8. Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ismael Fontes 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-9. Carlos Sendoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Valdomiro Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sportivo Mela Banco getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Marcos Cordeiro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Mela Banco's zone, Lúcio Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Lluc came out of the goal and Lúcio Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. OLIMPIA SP played a much better game than Sportivo Mela Banco and deserved their victory. The Sportivo Mela Banco players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
