Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Feliberto Romano started the match with the kick off. Vladimiro Izotz charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimiro Izotz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezia FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Vladimiro Izotz hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Feliberto Romano sped through Venezia FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amado Larra. Amado Larra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Acevedo in the 15th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Alfonso Ted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Fabian Herauso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amado Larra skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezia FC's Saverio Inautzi got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Gerardo Eron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Podridos ll's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezia FC the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Los Podridos ll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Eron to maneuver through the defense. When Horacio Hitzeder came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Venezia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Hitzeder couldn't finish the play. David Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Eneto in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leon Chico to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Feliberto Romano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amado Larra. Feliberto Romano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Gerardo Eron hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The supporters of Los Podridos ll booed when Venezia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gennaro Gattuso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amado Larra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Iyan in the 67th minute. If Eriberto Eneto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Podridos ll's Feliberto Romano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Feliberto Romano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Amado Larra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
