Zézinho Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Diamantidis in the 24th minute of the match. Kostas Lebesis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Thodoris Kouveliotis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panos Diamantidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Thanasis Korkolis hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Marios Kaliasis kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Ermis Karasavvidis's late challenge caught a Vae Victis!!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermis Karasavvidis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Ermis Karasavvidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kostas Lebesis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 45 played minutes ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fragiskos Papadopoulos. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Kostas Lebesis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Alves in the 92nd minute of the match. Despite being the better team, ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
