The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gerhart Riising hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. A collision led to Vae Victis!! getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Cléber da Rocha hit a great ball. Skellerup FC's Josef Belhøj got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zézinho Paraense came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Skellerup FC's Kristjan Høgaard. But to his dismay, Kristjan Høgaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 17 played minutes Skellerup FC got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Panholm. Skellerup FC's Marius Tradsborg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Skellerup FC from getting a goal against them. In the 23rdth minute of the game Kristjan Høgaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vae Victis!!'s Zézinho Paraense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelo Alves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Marius Tradsborg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 34th match minute, Vae Victis!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri Hermes to maneuver through the defense. Zézinho Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Belhøj in the 38th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Martin Elers charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Elers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Skellerup FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Elers. Josef Belhøj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Zézinho Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristjan Høgaard in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zézinho Paraense, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 60 minutes into the game, Amauri Hermes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vae Victis!!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skellerup FC the free kick. In the 60th minute, Amauri Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristjan Høgaard's late challenge caught a Vae Victis!!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristjan Høgaard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Pedrinho Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Marius Tradsborg. Skellerup FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Kristjan Høgaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Zézinho Paraense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 72 minutes, Kristjan Høgaard made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Vae Victis!!'s Zézinho Paraense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zézinho Paraense stood somewhat misplaced when Kristjan Høgaard came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 76 minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Kristjan Høgaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skellerup FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristjan Høgaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zézinho Paraense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the game, Skellerup FC's Kristjan Høgaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zézinho Paraense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. After 91 played minutes Skellerup FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerhart Riising. If Kristjan Høgaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Kristjan Høgaard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zézinho Paraense. The goal made the score 1-6.
