Cesinha Vieira scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zbyszko Karanewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute, Guilherme Souza made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszko Karanewski. Sportis SFC Baca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Zbyszko Karanewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilherme Souza's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Zbyszko Karanewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Vieira in the 23rd minute of play. Zbyszko Karanewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Sportis SFC Baca's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha Vieira came free, but Zbyszko Karanewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme Souza in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zbyszko Karanewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Kacper Lichniak fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportis SFC Baca's protests and gave Kacper Lichniak a yellow card for diving instead. Kacper Lichniak hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Guilherme Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Imbituba - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Zbyszko Karanewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Vieira in the 43rd minute of play. Zbyszko Karanewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guilherme Souza went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cesinha Vieira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Imbituba - FSCMZ's Guilherme Souza in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportis SFC Baca's goalkeeper Zbyszko Karanewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guilherme Souza in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zbyszko Karanewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cesinha Vieira's late challenge caught a Sportis SFC Baca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesinha Vieira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Cesinha Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's William Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Guilherme Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zbyszko Karanewski was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. During the 82nd minute of the match Cesinha Vieira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cesinha Vieira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Sportis SFC Baca booed when Imbituba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guilherme Souza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zbyszko Karanewski came out and tried to block the shot, but Guilherme Souza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 89th minute. In the 92ndth minute of the game Guilherme Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportis SFC Baca's Zbyszko Karanewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Guilherme Souza came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Imbituba - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilherme Souza couldn't finish the play. Imbituba - FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
