The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Károly Tolnay was the one to do the kick off. Alec Naisbitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vince Sós in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Harlow AFC's Silvester Atkinson got a free kick in the 54th minute. Róbert Kormos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Pickard, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 72 minutes of play, Szombathely Squirrels's Vince Sós made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After a defensive mix-up in Harlow AFC's zone, Lajos Domonkos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alec Naisbitt came out of the goal and Lajos Domonkos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alec Naisbitt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vince Sós's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Vince Sós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Szombathely Squirrels getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Miklós Sinkó hit a great ball. In the 89th match minute, Harlow AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louie Baird to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Szombathely Squirrels getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Lajos Domonkos hit a great ball. Róbert Kormos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierre Pickard in the 93rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryan Burgess got free with Róbert Kormos in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Vince Sós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters rose to their feet, but Vince Sós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alec Naisbitt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Szombathely Squirrels's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
