Felipe Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, FC Gustavo FPRMZ's André Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ghislain Lebecq made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rayan Saurel during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes Deus Ex Machina got a freekick which was hit by Rayan Saurel. After a rather tough play, Deus Ex Machina's Thierry Fouet got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Alphonse Mathevet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Felipe Tande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thierry Fouet got free with Felipe Tande in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ghislain Lebecq made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredão Seco in the 31st minute of play. Joey Faux took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Tande. Felipe Tande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Joey Faux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Felipe Tande made a huge save. If Tomás da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joey Faux to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Sofiane Donnat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deus Ex Machina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Gustavo FPRMZ the free kick. In the 51st minute, one of Deus Ex Machina:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deus Ex Machina. The goalkeeper, Ghislain Lebecq, was totally fooled by FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Mathias Madureira, who 53 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 56th minute Joey Faux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deus Ex Machina:s Ghislain Lebecq showed great skill when he stopped Mathias Madureira:s penalty. After some careless play in the Deus Ex Machina defense, Mathias Madureira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ghislain Lebecq. The Deus Ex Machina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ghislain Lebecq should have stopped the shot. Deus Ex Machina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Rubens Diniz scored to the left of an out of position Ghislain Lebecq, making the score, 1-4. Joey Faux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute Joey Faux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Gustavo FPRMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rayan Saurel was slow to take the kick. During this time Deus Ex Machina's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Deus Ex Machina's corner Rayan Saurel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Felipe Tande quite easily take care of the ball. In the 94th minute Rubens Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ghislain Lebecq saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deus Ex Machina's attentive Rayan Saurel managed to snatch the ball when Alfredão Seco made a throw-in in the 96th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded FC Gustavo FPRMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deus Ex Machina.
