Cosme Vimaro hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Evert Ahlgren struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Christian Karlo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Lions FC. Joaquin Jaunzuria took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conny Ånger. Conny Ånger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Rune Wallin during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 21 minutes into the match, Hacha y Tiza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Enström came free, but Christian Karlo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hacha y Tiza FC's zone, Evert Ahlgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Karlo came out of the goal and Evert Ahlgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Karlo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Thorsberg in the 27th minute. Conny Ånger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Fero in the 30th minute of the match. Golden Lions FC's Conny Ånger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Jaunzuria in the 33rd minute of play. Conny Ånger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Teofilio in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Joaquin Jaunzuria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Ånger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hacha y Tiza FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquin Jaunzuria to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Thorsberg in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Karlo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Thorsberg in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Karlo saved Hacha y Tiza FC from getting behind. Christian Karlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Enström in the 68th minute of play. Conny Ånger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Jaunzuria, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Christian Thorsberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hacha y Tiza FC's Christian Karlo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christian Karlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Thorsberg in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Thorsberg in the 75th minute of play forced Hacha y Tiza FC's goalkeeper Christian Karlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Hacha y Tiza FC got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Teofilio. Evert Ahlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 92 minutes, Svante Sigman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Lions FC and the Hacha y Tiza FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Golden Lions FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play.
