The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aytaç Şenbay in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vagnar Roebel saved The Potters from getting behind. Aras Selil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vagnar Roebel having to interfere. When André Skovsted came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the The Potters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Skovsted couldn't finish the play. Vagnar Roebel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aras Selil in the 15th minute of the match. If Manfred Baland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vagnar Roebel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aytaç Şenbay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Aras Selil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Vagnar Roebel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 39 played minutes The Potters got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Roikjer. Cafer Salman kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Nicky Svankjær shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abbas Korhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aras Selil made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aras Selil in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vagnar Roebel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute Manfred Baland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abbas Korhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ozanköy u21 getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Cafer Salman hit a great ball. The Potters made a substitution. Sonni Thorbjørner replaced André Skovsted. Cafer Salman kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ozanköy u21's Abbas Korhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonni Thorbjørner in the 64th minute of play. Aras Selil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ozanköy u21 booed when The Potters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sonni Thorbjørner didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, The Potters's Sonni Thorbjørner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abbas Korhan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 79th minute of the match, Sonni Thorbjørner got a very nice opportunity to score, but Abbas Korhan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aras Selil in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vagnar Roebel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abbas Korhan came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by The Potters's Sonni Thorbjørner. But to his dismay, Sonni Thorbjørner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicky Svankjær got free with Abbas Korhan in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abbas Korhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sonni Thorbjørner in the 91st minute. Ozanköy u21's Abbas Korhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Ozanköy u21 from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded The Potters left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ozanköy u21.
