Pavlos Soufis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13 played minutes Ágætis Byrjun got a freekick which was hit by Hans-Cees Ridder. The throw-in from Laurens Waterman in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lipochσrion FC's Christoforos Vatatzis. In the 24th minute, Edgard Ooijer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aris Gabriilidis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Ágætis Byrjun booed when Lipochσrion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paraskevas Chronis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Zethof recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Edgard Ooijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aris Gabriilidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurens Waterman hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ágætis Byrjun's Hans-Cees Ridder got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Hans-Cees Ridder off the ground. After a rather tough play, Ágætis Byrjun's Hans-Cees Ridder got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Aris Gabriilidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Ooijer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Ooijer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aris Gabriilidis was a little too slow when Edgard Ooijer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-2. Mirko Kielstra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Christoforos Vatatzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aris Gabriilidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hub van Loo in the 64th minute of the match. Lipochσrion FC's Aris Gabriilidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirko Kielstra in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the Lipochσrion FC defense, Mirko Kielstra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aris Gabriilidis. The Lipochσrion FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aris Gabriilidis should have stopped the shot. Edgard Ooijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christoforos Vatatzis during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Lipochσrion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoforos Vatatzis to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Mirko Kielstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mirko Kielstra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Ooijer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Aris Gabriilidis made a huge save. After 83 played minutes Lipochσrion FC got a freekick which was hit by Telis Moschogiannis. 84 minutes into the match, Edgard Ooijer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aris Gabriilidis. Lipochσrion FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Ooijer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Edgard Ooijer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ágætis Byrjun's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Ooijer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aris Gabriilidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavlos Soufis in the 92nd minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Serge Buring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Hub van Loo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aris Gabriilidis. Lipochσrion FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hub van Loo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Ágætis Byrjun's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
