Edgar Samuelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio lago in the 13th minute of the match. Gabriel Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Larsfelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the game, Preator Edikt's Hans Lövskog nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Edgar Samuelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermano Simões. Edgar Samuelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sérgio lago in the 26th minute. Sérgio lago received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edgar Samuelsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Sérgio lago slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Aveiro FC booed when Preator Edikt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Mellin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Aveiro FC's Lourenço Simões dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Gabriel Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kim Larsfelt went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Adam Kihlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isak Ambjörnsson in the 68th minute. Aveiro FC's Gabriel Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Aveiro FC from getting a goal against them. Isak Ambjörnsson in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gabriel Lima, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Aveiro FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Isidoro Costa hit a great ball. Edgar Samuelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassiano Caetano, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Aveiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cassiano Caetano to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Aveiro FC's Gabriel Lima got control of the ball when Adam Kihlman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute Cassiano Caetano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Samuelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Lima came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Preator Edikt's Isak Ambjörnsson. But to his dismay, Isak Ambjörnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
