When Arne Haug fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mulgimaa Kosilased's protests and gave Arne Haug a yellow card for diving instead. Mulgimaa Kosilased's Georg Undusk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thibaut Mazieres in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thibaut Mazieres in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georg Undusk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Georg Undusk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jean-Michel Blandin struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Georg Undusk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Pointe Courte. Pierre-Antoine Mariette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thibaut Mazieres in the 45th minute of play forced Mulgimaa Kosilased's goalkeeper Georg Undusk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Pointe Courte's Jean-Michel Blandin got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevin Aller hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

After a rather tough play, La Pointe Courte's Jean-Pascal Hingant got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Sabri Fouquet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Lame, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when Mulgimaa Kosilased was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markus Lame didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 minutes, Kaspar Pärn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mulgimaa Kosilased and the La Pointe Courte players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Mulgimaa Kosilased was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaspar Pärn to maneuver through the defense. The La Pointe Courte players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
