Andreas Meynen came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Preator Edikt's Kim Larsfelt. But to his dismay, Kim Larsfelt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Andreas Meynen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isak Ambjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gillis Raeimakers's late challenge caught a Preator Edikt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gillis Raeimakers helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to All Stars Gent getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gillis Raeimakers hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Kim Larsfelt notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of All Stars Gent's Andreas Meynen. Andreas Meynen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alain Dejardin kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Andreas Meynen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Kihlman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andreas Meynen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isak Ambjörnsson in the 22nd minute of the match. Edgar Samuelsson came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by All Stars Gent's Ernest Tailleur. But to his dismay, Ernest Tailleur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Edgar Samuelsson made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Ernest Tailleur sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th match minute, All Stars Gent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Tombuer to maneuver through the defense. Andreas Meynen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isak Ambjörnsson in the 32nd minute of play. Sem Hustinx hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Kim Larsfelt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andreas Meynen. All Stars Gent's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim Larsfelt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 43rd minute of the match Christopher Sandwall shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andreas Meynen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isak Ambjörnsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Preator Edikt defense, Jan-Simon Backers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Samuelsson. The Preator Edikt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Samuelsson should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, All Stars Gent's Andreas Meynen got control of the ball when Adam Kihlman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Ernest Tailleur notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Preator Edikt's Edgar Samuelsson. Edgar Samuelsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute, Jan-Simon Backers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andreas Meynen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Christopher Sandwall. In the 79th minute, Patrick Tombuer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Samuelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. All Stars Gent's Andreas Meynen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save All Stars Gent from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the game, Ernest Tailleur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Edgar Samuelsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew the final whistle, All Stars Gent could leave the field as winners, despite Preator Edikt having more of the ball for most of the match.
