After 12 minutes of play, Winthont FC's Eelco Neijsen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manole Robu was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Koekkoek in the 17th minute of play forced The Valar's goalkeeper Manole Robu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Olimpiu Pascu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Valar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winthont FC the free kick. Olimpiu Pascu hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th match minute, The Valar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ion Otopeanu to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Şelaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jacob Hauvers made a huge save. In the 29th minute, The Valar's Ştefan Moculescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacob Hauvers. Jacob Hauvers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Jacob Hauvers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Moculescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Manole Robu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Koekkoek in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Ştefan Moculescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacob Hauvers, 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Winthont FC's Jacob Hauvers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Moculescu in the 53rd minute of play. Ştefan Moculescu took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacob Hauvers. Jacob Hauvers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Filip Smit hit a great ball. In the 67th match minute, The Valar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Ţeica to maneuver through the defense. The Valar's Mugurel Seţeanu suffered a fractured collar bone after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The Valar made a substitution. Claudiu Becheanu replaced Mugurel Seţeanu. In the 72nd minute, Koos Masker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Winthont FC booed when The Valar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Hortopan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Ion Otopeanu put in a rough tackle. In the 81st minute, one of The Valar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Valar. Tomas Hof placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The supporters of The Valar booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giel Zeegelaar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Becheanu in the 86th minute of play forced Winthont FC's goalkeeper Jacob Hauvers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes of play, The Valar's Claudiu Becheanu made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacob Hauvers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emil Hortopan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jacob Hauvers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
